Kailey Leinz is a Washington-based correspondent and anchor for Bloomberg TV, with a primary focus on the intersection of policy and financial markets. She contributes daily to Bloomberg's “Balance of Power” and “Sound On” programs, and co-hosts "Bloomberg Crypto" each week. Leinz has interviewed high-profile newsmakers, including lawmakers, diplomats, central bankers and industry-leading CEOs. Leinz began her career at Bloomberg’s New York headquarters in 2017 and relocated to Washington in early 2023. She previously co-anchored “Bloomberg Surveillance: Early Edition” and served as a markets reporter covering major macro events. Leinz graduated with Honors from the University of Virginia.
